King Chulalongkorn Rama V the Great, attached the Chula Mongkut (Minor Crown), emblem of Rama V.This medal has no mint mark nor dateThe series of "The Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand" was originated by King Chulalongkorn Rama V in AD1869 and were to confer royal relatives, government officials and civilian, who have been contributed to the country outstanding and honorable services. The series, comprise of 7 class and one special class, is still honored present day but rarely conferred.The decree require this medal be returned when awarded higher class or pass away. In case of nonreturnable, the equivalent amount of 1, 936 Baht (about US$55) must be submitted for compensation.
