Pristeen condition denison jump smock 1959 pattern used by British (and other) military in many conflicts.Adopted by the British Parachute Regiment until the 1970's.
This example displays both the British and Canadian parachute qualification badges and was utilised by a Canadian officer in UK and elsewhere since 1968. Please see photos.Please review the quality of manufacture, surely non existant today in both construction, stitch quality and overall garment strength.
Note: altho...ugh a SIZE 1, please remember that the denison was designed to fit OVER the usual battle dress, so the sizes are very conservative. I am 5'10" and this smock fits me with ease and with extra room for several undergarments.
Cuffs: please see photo 4 for the only fault I can find, several very small incisions on the right cuff.Snap buttons: all fully functional, no chips or wearZipper: perfectly functional with practically no wearColour: perfect, no fading or other defectsAnti-billow device: present and un-worn, snaps functional
