Here today for your consideration is an absolutely precious Alexander Kins , 8 inch, hard plastic, SLW "Wendy Ready For Any Weather" doll #572 made by Madame Alexander in 1956. Although Im not the original owner Wendy and her adorable outfit appear to have never been played with or displayed, its very obvious they have been well taken care of and stored properly. Wendy is very clean with even skin tone, beautiful face paint, brown painted eyebrows, nicely blushed cheeks, and sweet as c...herries red painted lips, with no enhancements. Look at those adorable chubby cheeks and her large crystal clear hazel colored open and close eyes. She has no problems standing on her own with no split or cracked joints and her walker still works great. Wendy has a darling uncombed perfect dark blonde center three row stitched flip style wig with lots of curls. Her golden color rayon taffeta raincoat and matching hat are crisp and clean with absolutely no wear and tear or unwanted marks, no holes, and no odors. The coat is lined with a darling tiny yellow flowered print fabric while the hat is lined with the same rayon taffeta fabric. In my opinion it doesn't appear the raincoat and hat have ever been used, they appear to be in pristine condition (if you see any what looks like marks on the raincoat or hat its merely the taffeta fabric reflection, not marks). Even though the raincoat and hat are not tagged I am 100% certain they were made by Madame Alexander. At first look her sweet little dress and panties appeared to match the lining of her raincoat but upon a more close look the dresses little flower print has just the slightest variance but the panties are an exact match. Since I am not the original owner I can not say if the dress is original to this outfit or not. In any event it's a very sweet little dress that looks adorable with her raincoat and hat. The dress and panties are crisp and clean with no flaws or issues as shown in the pictures. To complete Wendy's outfit she wears her brown boots with fuzzy bottoms in wonderful condition. I will include a very nice pair of yellow socks should the new owner wish to try and put them on under her boots. As with most small vintage boots the material becomes slightly dry over the years and I did not want to chance tearing the boots with the added thickness of socks. A picture of Wendy Ready For Any Weather doll can be seen in the World of Alexander Kins book on page #58 in the upper right corner. Wendy and her precious outfit are absolutely adorable all ready to be displayed. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless. ***Just a reminder the ducky is not included in this listing***On Jul-25-19 at 09:46:03 PDT, seller added the following information:Good morning, an eBayer has requested pictures of her head without her hat.
