Vintage red and white enamelware water dipper or ladle. Red handle with hanging hole, white bowl with red trim. Rusty where the handle attaches to the bowl but still sturdy. Typical age wear from actual use. No dents or repairs. Please see photos, I've shown all sides and left the photos big so you can zoom on it.
Handle is about 10" long, and bowl is almost 4" across and about 1.5" deep.
Great addition to a farmhouse kitchen!
Back in the early 60's my co...usins and I would spend time at Grandma's house in the country. We played outside all day! We didn't go back in the house for a soda, or a bottle of water...nope, we drew water from the well with the well bucket and shared a 'water dipper' just like this one! Can you imagine doing that today? I'd be scared the kiddos would fall in the well.. not to mention the germ sharing!!!
