This neck has a code of "2 MAR 64 B" which dates it to March 1964. The nut is 1.64" wide and the neck is 0.83" thick at the 1st fret and 0.97" thick at the 12th fret. The neck is straight and the frets show only light wear. It has been re-fretted with larger frets and the nut has been changed. It's in excellent playing condition with no major issues. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has worn in smoothly over the years. The headstock has t...wo extra holes on the back near the high E tuner (one is covered when you have Klusons back on it). No other modifications and the finish and decal are original. I blacklighted it and the original nitro finish glows nicely - no signs of a refinish. This part was removed from a genuine American made 1964 Fender Stratocaster. The serial number was "L38739", the neck was dated to March 1964 and the pots dated to June 1964.I may have more parts from this guitar up for sale, so please check my other listings.
