Vintage (ca 1926) Gibson, TB-2, 18 fret Tenor Banjo FON 8353-25. Excellent condition with maple rim, neck and resonator. Banjo has calfskin head, Beautiful original finish and has honest playwear as shown on the back of the neck. Resonator has light lacquer checking as typical for Gibson banjos of this vintage. The inlays are beautiful and typical of this model. Tuners are original and work well and the banjo has a beautiful Presto four string tailpiece. &...nbsp;There is a little wear on the armrest where the brass is showing through the nickel plating. The rest of the plating is bright and shiny. Original case is nothing special and missing the original handle but is solid and serviceable. Enjoy this banjo as a tenor or add a five string neck for a fantastic sounding banjo for finger picking or claw hammer. Note armrest in photo has been replaced with correct Gibson two piece nickel plated armrest (photo available upon request)
