Vintage Gibson EB - 3 Electric Bass Guitar W/ Slotted Head - Short Scale
Item History & Price
The serial number reads 612103 and under that MADE IN U.S.A.The top volume knob and left tone knob "work" The volume had to be turned up to 10 for music to be heard (anything below that and the music would not come out) and then the left tone knob w...orked. I could not notice any difference when adjusting the other 2 knobs and 1 switch during playing, they appear to be disconnected. The Bridge appears to be a "Badass" adjustable bridge, The lengths I am quoting are based on the current settings.
The Length from the Nut to the highest Saddle (thinnest string) is approx 30.5" From the Nut to the two middle strings' saddle is approx 30.75" and from the Nut to the Thickest strings' saddle is approx 31"
Lot of scratches scuffs nicks crazing and dings and customization throughout as pictured!I am not a guitar expert by any means but I was unable to see any bowing or warping to the neck.
This includes an old beat up Gibson hard case with a gold/yellow/orange interior (I have pics if you ask)
The guy that sold this to us collected all sorts of interesting things that were generally unique or special in their own realm, which makes me want to believe that this was too but unfortunately I do not have the time to do much research. I guess he may have just liked it because it was a fantastic bass guitar. Please feel free to contact us about anything! or for additional pictures of specific areas! I have pics of the fret wear and inside of the back if you contact us.
