1970 ' S Vintage Fender 3 - Bolt Stratocaster NECK Maple Strat

This is a vintage 70's Fender Stratocaster neck. The neck comes with the 3 bolt neck plate and screws. The frets are in excellent condition. They were recently leveled and crowned by a luthier. The neck had a bad lacquer coating on the fretboard and the neck. It was heavily crazed. The neck was stripped with lacquer thinner. I left the front of the headstock alone. There are original Fender stamps on the heal of the neck, but there is no ...date stamp. The serial number on the headstock seems to be missing a number. The headstock did not appear to have the same bad lacquer job on it that the rest of the neck had. The neck is pretty clean as far as dings and thing like that. It does have a ding on the fret marker surface. It is in the 11th fret. See last photo. I am not sure if this was a factory error and was filled. I didn't see that before stripping the finish. It would need a slight amount of filler. Over all a very nice vintage neck. Very comfortable to play.
