Macintosh 128k, Model M0001. This is original Apple Macintosh personal computer.
The serial number is F4270U8M0001. The serial number decoder I found reports it as the 960th manufactured during the 27th week of 1984 in Fremont, CA.
This computer is in working condition. The PRAM battery is new. The screen is clear and bright.
Included items:Macintosh 128k, Model M0001Macintosh Keyboard, Model M0110 Macintosh Mouse, Model M0100Macintosh Externa...l Disk Drive, 400k, Model M0130Apple Imagewriter Printer, Model A9M0303Original manuals for the Macintosh, Macwrite, Macpaint, and Imagewriter printerOriginal Apple 400k disks, system disk, and others
The only known fault is that the computer will not boot from the internal drive. The internal drive eject mechanism works correctly, but it does not read the disk. The computer boots and runs normally from the external floppy drive.
The printer powers on and I can advance the roller, but I don't have any paper or software to test it.
For the disks, the original Write and Paint disks won't boot. The original System Disk works fine.
This computer belonged to my grandfather. I believe he got it used in the late 80s.
It has a sticker on the back from the University of Rochester Computer Store.
