Please see the section below, regarding buyers with zero feedback, and bidding on my items. And now, without further ado...PLEASE SEE ...ALL 24 PHOTOS AT THE END OF THIS AD. You are looking at a hard to find and highly desirable original Hobie Hawk R/C Glider Sailplane. I believe it is complete but I really am not knowledgeable beyond what I've been able to read on the net. This is what I can tell you about it. It has the electronics mounted in the body. I do not know if they work and have no way to test. The canopy is pretty much scratch free and clear. The wings have a couple of indentations, one very small, and the other where another part of the plane was pressing up against it in the box, which appeared to be stored for a long time (see photos #8, #10). There is some paint chipping areas around the screw holes where the wings adjoin the fuselage (see photos). There are a couple of small tears in the wing material, they are very tiny and seem insignificant to me (see photo #9), but I have included pictures for your judgement. I did not want to remove the red and green tape because I wanted to present it as found, and didn't want to risk potentially damaging it, but you can removes the tape and make it all white as new. There is a bag of additional parts like small metal rods, screws, and plastic gear/pulley looking pieces. Overall looks to be in very solid, and from the others I have seen, excellent condition. The box is original with the styrofoam, but the box has been battered about and has some tears, and missing flaps on the open end. Will be shipped with new cardboard surrounding the original packaging to preserve the original box as much as possible. Boxes, and that is the shipping charge that has been quoted. Therefore, if you have a P.O. Box as your shipping address, you can still bid but shipping will need to be calculated, so please contact me with your zipcode first, so I can tell you the actual cost to get it to you. Again, I reserve the right to use either Fed Ex or USPS to ship your item, always taking in to account the quickest and most efficient way to get your purchase to you safely. We have all been there at some point, being new to ebay and all...it's exciting to bid on items! But when you do, you are creating a contract between yourself and the seller, and it's really lame not to follow through on your purchase when you win. Because I have had a few buyers like this, I must institute a policy that buyers with zero feedback must contact me BEFORE bidding on any of my items. If you are a buyer with ZERO feedback, and you bid on my items without contacting me first, your bid will be cancelled. Yes, I know, there are some righteous buyers with zero feedback, and you may be one of them...but because of the ones that aren't, you must go through this extra step if you want to purchase an item from me. This policy applies to ZERO feedback buyers only...everyone else, feel free to bid away! : )
A few words about my return policy…
I don't accept returns, and my items are sold as-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Here's why...I've sold in excess of 1500 items on ebay. I've had only a few returns. The very few returns I've had were not packed by the buyers, with the care that I take, to ensure that items arrive safely. That being said, I have been a seller for 15 years on ebay, and I have 100% feedback and high DSR's for a reason. I stand behind every transaction. If you EVER have a problem with a purchase from me, you can rest assured that I will work it out with you, to your satisfaction. I just ask that you please contact me and allow me the opportunity to address any issues BEFORE opening a case with ebay, or leaving negative feedback. Thanks : )

If for some reason you need more time for payment, just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. As long as you communicate with me, we're cool. Feedback will be left when received. Feedback should reflect item description, shipping time, communication and shipping costs, and these aspects are broken down individually by Ebay, with star ratings. Please keep in mind when you rate your sellers, that shipping is more than just the post office mailing rate. It includes the padded envelopes, tape, printing, bubblewrap, styrofoam peanuts, etc…all the things necessary to ensure that your item arrives safely to you. These things may add a few cents to your shipping costs, but really, would you rather have it any other way?
