Rare W&A Low-Boy Sock-Hat stand with cymbals. These W&A units were used and offered with all the early major American drum companies including Ludwig & Ludwig, Slingerland, and Leedy. This stand operates well for it's age. The cymbals measure 10" and were well used with a unique patina. Top cymbal appears to have been painted at one time. The cymbals have some dents and edge bends to them, but are otherwise in working condition. I believe it is... missing the original top wing nut. For those unfamiliar with these W&A stand, the rod that goes through the cymbals was manufactured with a bend at the top, so the cymbals will hit at an angle. If you've been waiting for a W&A low boy to add to your collection, these rarely become available.
