Vintage Kaiser Idell 6718 Industrial Scissor Wall Lamp - Bauhaus Design

This is an original vintage Kaiser Idell 6718 industrial workshop lamp.
It's a celebrated piece of Bauhaus design by Christian Dell
It's wonderfully designed, swinging side-to-side and up-down, along with pivoting at the shade.
This particular lamp is very old and well used, but has plenty of character.
It was incredibly rusty and the paint had nearly all gone, so it's just been brushed and cleaned to reveal the underlying metal. It was obviously well used in an industr...ial environment, as it has had a few old replacement hardware parts over the years (visible in the photos).
There are various dents to the shade, but it still retains it's original shape well.
It's fitted with long flex with an inline switch and a UK plug.
If you want an immaculate, as new, style lamp, this isn't going to be for you. However, it will appeal to those looking for a genuinely vintage piece of classic industrial design.
