This is a vintage Japanese early Showa Era (c. 1930's) brass adjustable thimble ring. It has an open back so you can adjust the ring to the proper size which fits you personally (see picture 5).
This thimble ring measures 3/4" in diameter by 3/4" tall (1.9 x 1.9 cm). Along with a nice aged patina, it remains in fine condition.
