Up for auction from a recent estate sale is a vintage (I believe 1960's) AIWA TP-32A Transistor Tape Recorder, as pictured. Comes with original booklet but no microphone or any other accessories. The battery compartment is clean. I tested the unit with a D cell and a 9 volt battery and unit works fine mechanically. The reel to reel tape that is currently in the unit, as seen in attached photo's, has probably been installed for a number of years. When played, the tape is not legib...le and cannot understand what is being said. I have no other reel to reel tapes to test so I am not sure if unit is working correctly but all functions are working. No major dings or flaws but discoloration area on the underneath hood area above one of the reels, as shown in photo's. Side hooks work fine as well as the open/shut screw on battery compartment lid. The unit measures 5 1/2" by 9" and is 3" tall. Weighs 2 lbs 6 oz prior to shipping box and packing material. I guarantee satisfaction with the item and condition stated or your money back.
