Vintage Voigtlander Perkeo I Film Camera, Color Skopar 80mm, perfectly working and film tested. I have owned this camera for a number of years, and has performed flawlessly. Shutter is working and is accurate to ear, when tested against known working shutters on other cameras. Negatives from this camera confirm accurate exposures. Lens is pristine. Top cover has a few scratches and dings, commensurate with age/use - see pics. Bellos are supple and light tight - no issues.
I have own...ed all perkeo versions, and this is my personal favorite, due to its elegant simplicity. There is no poorly designed film counter to foul, and no annoying advance and latching/loading lever mechanism of the later versions. I also personally prefer the prontor shutter to the far more error prone synchro compur (that to me, always sounds like its grinding apart when cocked.) Flash sync works, as does the self timer. Lens is clean, clear, and focus is smooth. Lens standards engage with confidence, and are straight and parallel. Camera is completely ready to shoot.
