Up for sale is a Dan Smith era CBS Fullerton Factory HIGH QUALITY 1982 Fender Precision Bass with OHSC. 100% ALL ORIGINAL, Only thing replaced was the input jack to a USA Switchcraft jack, all else is Factory original. Beautiful Transparent RUBY RED on ASH Body, Maple neck and Fretboard, Frets are in incredible shape, this was a one owner bass that was sold to a Music shop that I bought it at so essentially a 2 owner and obviously the condition reflects that. Setup by Master luthier Ro...naldo Orlandoni from Ronaldo Custom Guitars in Union City NJ, plays like a DREAM! Killer low action, Zero fret buzz no dead spots, Neck is straight & true , Truss rod is 100% and as you see sits near flush at the heel of the neck. This is as good as it gets, you can see the Ash grain more in person hard to capture outdoors, This is stunning has the very sought after S9 serial number the 1979 Neck with the B width 1 5/8" at nut super comfy for those of you who know it, here comes the best part the SOUND, Not only is she a looker and plays like butter she has that FAT sound, 70's punchy P that you can only get from the Fullerton Grey Bottom pickups and the Ash on Maple this thing sounds incredible that really has that sought after tone. This is NOT a purchase for you this is an investment, I am selling for a quick sale not making money only what I paid for it and I can fetch more in this condition for sure on this caliber of a Precision but you can get it all with original case for $1500, Will NOT sell for a penny less no offers on this one, I will pack well and ship fast.
