Fireplace peel is an early primitive tool used to remove bread and other cooked foods from the fireplace cooking hearth. No visible repairs and in original antique condition. Shows natural aging..., rusting and patina, mostly on the peel, (since that is the part that gets heated and cooled repeatedly in the fire.) Like all antique and vintage finds, this item has age wear etc., it is not perfect.
