Attractive Home decor item. Rim of the base as well as of the lid are a bit worn and coming apart. Could still be easily shored up if so desired. There's no intent to claim the material in this basket fits the purists' definition of 'sweetgrass'. My 'experts' call it 'sweetgrass'. If you don't, and that's important to you, then you probably won't want to bid on this item. Hostile messages, like I have received in the past over this issue, will not be tolerated.
