Original Description:
American Revolutionary War Rapier Sword in good condition. Typical New England style hilt with older European blade.  
Possibly the blade inscription is Andrew Ferrara however, I can’t 100 percent say it is, as I can’t make it completely out. (Best Guess)
Rare folding guard, (Fighting Guard) common on french and east European sabers of 1760-80-s, but never saw one on rapier. Blade is 37.5", OAL is 42" Sword is nice and tight.
Horn grip is later restoration, but i...n typical late 18th century american style. Very rare and unusual American sword.
I did my best to describe the Sword (what you see is what you get) will not re-list must be 18 or over to buy
