In this auction we are offering an Antique Pensacola Yacht Club Silver Plate Figural Trophy. Measuring 15-1/2 inches in height X 8 inches in width, it is elaborately decorated with applied crossed awes along the front and rear of the trophy and two large hanging anchors at each side. The removable top features a standing sailor. The inscription reads; " Presented to Admiral Van Ausdall, by Pensacola Yacht Club and Friends, Oyster Bay L.I.-Feb. 10th 1882. This trophy has remained i...n excellent condition, no damage. The gold-washed interior is also in excellent condition. Marked on the base; TRIPLE PLATE / Simpson Hall Miller & co. A nice example.
