Vintage Vogue GINNY 1953 " PAMELA " Debutante Series Outfit - - Complete

Up for auction is a beautiful outfit for a vintage Vogue Ginny. The outfit is from the 1953 Debutante Series and is #60 PAMELA. You can find a Ginny in "Pamela" on p. 104 of the pink Izen/Stover "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls". This Pamela outfit consists of a pink organdy skirted dress with woven ribbon and lace trim at hem with a green velvet top. The velvet top is in excellent condition. There are a couple of light brown marks on the back skirt of the dress, which is minor.... The pink color is very nice with no fading and the fabric has lots of body. The dress has not been laundered and is tagged with the skinny Vogue tag. There is matching flower trim on the plastic purse, at the waist, and on the distinctive straw hat. The green velvet tie of the hat is frayed, but looks fine when tied.  Underneath the dress is the stiff net slip, pink organdy panties which match perfectly, pink socks and green center snap shoes. The shoes are in good condition but care must always be taken if you decide to snap and unsnap the shoes. The waistband of the slip is tight but there are a couple spots where the net is coming out of the elastic of the waistband but it stays up fine and looks great under the dress.
