This adorable doll is a Rare VINTAGE 1952 VOGUE Doll in the Sport Series. These little dolls were Ginny, before she was officially named Ginny. She is a painted lash with short hair and painted lashes. She is named Fisherman, obvious both from her outfit but also from the original paper tag that is still around her neck! She has her original one piece denim romper, fisherman’s slicker and hat ANn the impossible to find fishing pole that still works! This doll came from the original o...wner who received her as a child. She was very well cared for. Aside from a little mark on he back of her rain coat she is in very nice condition. She has rosy high color cheeks and shiny hair that needs to be smoothed down in a couple spots. Her eyes are stuck open. But clear and bright. She is a strung doll and still holding together well. Her paper Vogue Tag is in nice condition, smooth and clean. She even has the elastic chin strap on her hat and it is still stretchy. A miracle! The fishing pole is in excellent condition and the little crank still pulls up the line. She is clean, odor free and from a non smoking home.
