This is a real Olympic Torch from Olympiad 1980 in Moscow.
The torch was carried by my father during the Olympic relay over the territory of Bulgaria.
The paint is damaged by flame during my father's relay.Please look at the pictures... carefully!

The official route of Olympic games in Moscow 1980 : Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, USSR.Total 5000km. The torch of the Moscow Olympics, in its construction and its outside appearance, did not resemble its predecessors. Its basic elements comprised a burner section, a ringed cup and protective screen, made from an aluminium alloy, along with the torch handle
containing the gas reservoir. The cup and the screen were golden yellow while the burner section and the handle were of a silvery shade.The protective cover carried the official emblem of the Games of the XXII Olympiad while on the burner section was inscribed "Moscow— Olympiad-80". Total manufactured torchs:6000. In Leningrad workshops: North (body), "Elecroautomatica" ("handle") and "Klimov" (totally assemble). The torch was registered as an invention at the State Registry of Inventions of the USSR, inventor's certificate No. 729414 was given the group which had created the torch by the USSR State Committee on Inventions and Discoveries.Dimensions are : 565 mm length ; 27 mm minimum diameter ; 100 mm maximum diameter.
