VINTAGE LEGITIMUS COLLINS & CO. 1944 U.S.N. M.K-2 MACHETEWITH LEATHER SHEATH
Up for auction is a vintage military machete. It is marked on the blade U.S.N. M.K-2 LEGITIMUS COLLINS & CO. 1944 with a crown, fist & hammer logo. Overall length is 27 1/4" long, blade is 21 7/8". The sheath is marked U.S. BOYT 42. It is in good condition, there are some discoloration and some minor scuffs/scratches. The sheath shows a little wear, it has some scuffs/scr...atches and some missing stitches, looks like someone tried to scratch out a name?
