Up for auction is yet another item from my now-dwindling Daimler Ferret / British Army collectibles. This item you see is a CANVAS MUZZLE COVER for either the Browning 30 Caliber MG or the Bren gun, as carried on the Ferret and other British Military vehicles. It is NOS (New, Old Stock), new with the original manufacturer's tag. Depending on availability, some of the Brownings and Brens were equipped with the leather muzzle cover, others had this o...ne, the canvas version, which has a draw-string closure. Part number is 66-041-6493 and dated February 1944. I purchased this cover from Tom Thompson who was the owner of Tanks-A-Lot. He is now deceased and his company has long been out of business. I am starting the bidding for less than what I paid for it.
