~*~ Hello and thank you for looking ~*~ MAGNIFICENT ! A timeworn wonderful antique French plaid , hand woven linen , dating c 1780-1800. This stunning piece is very rare and was once used as part of a bedding textile, there are later alterations ( treadle stitched seams) . this textile was hand woven in the 18th century using indigo and sun bleached flax. Gorgeous body and faded timeworn tones!~ This piece is ideal for cutting projects such as pillows, small upholst...ery projects etc as there are small , medium and large holes! The holes are dotted here and there, so there isn't a really large area for large upholstery, but lovely for creative hands. There are original rings too as it was once used as a curtain in the past too! MEASUREMENTS: this piece is an odd shape and measures only approximately : 37 inches by 86 inches ~ ish! ~*~ CONDITION : I've hand washed and hung to dry this lovely piece. ( please see above for condition details)
