From the classic baseball movie, "The Pride of the Yankees" comes this poster from its original 1949 Japanese release after the end of WWII and the recent death of Babe Ruth. Exhibits a full color image of Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig, in his Yankees uniform and with his wife, played by Teresa Wright. The film highlighted the life and tragic life of Lou Gehrig, who had visited Japan in 1931 and 1934 with American baseball delegations.
