In this auction I am listing a gorgeous 1950’s Cissy Madame Alexander 20” doll. She is dressed in her Organdy “1955” Summer Gown #2095. Cissy has a hard plastic body with jointed vinyl arms. Her head is hard plastic as well. She has a full head of honey blonde hair. Cissy has lovely red coral colored rosebud lips, light gray eyeshadow, beautiful crystal blue green eyes, full black brush lashes, and painted eyebrows and lower lashes. She has a very small light colored blemish on... the middle of her forehead. Her ears are not pierced. Although all Cissy’s other joints are good and hold a pose her head is loose. Her vinyl arms are free of any missing pieces or tears. Her torso is in wonderful condition with the exception of one almost unnoticeable scratch right above her bellybutton. There are no cracks or breaks. The legs have a small amount of rub at the inner top. The blushed jointed knees bend nicely and there are no cracks or breaks anywhere that I can see. Cissy has the high arched feet to accommodate her high heel sandals. All fingers and toes are accounted for. Cissy is wearing a “1955” Summer Gown #2095. Her outfit includes her lovely sheer organza dress with rows of lace, vintage textile red forget-me-not flowers and red satin ribbon trim. The gown has yellowed somewhat over the many years and there are a couple very small pin holes. Nice condition for nearing 60 years old. Also included is a satin hoop slip (which has a slight bend) with attached satin panties, thigh high nylons (small run at toe), white elastic with red rhinestone and clear sparkle bottom sandals. Cissy also wears her original hat with elastic strap attached. Her pearl necklace has flaked some of the pearl off. Overall this is a wonderful Vintage Cissy Doll. She would honestly be a great addition to any doll lovers collection. I am certainly no expert on this doll but I have included all details I have and sincerely try to be very honest to forgo any problems for buyer or seller.
