Up for sale are two bound volumes of Figure Photography Magazines, and a modern man and Cabaret Volume 2. Evidently there was a photography studio called Porter Art Studio in San Francisco. There are two volumes that are “bound”, Volume II has Figure Photography Volume 12, 13-Bettie Page, 14, 15, and “modern man 1957 Yearbook of Queens Volume 6”, and Cabaret Volume 2. As you can see from the photographs, the front cover of Volume 2, and the back cover of the Cabaret ...have been damaged from the binding. There’s also some cut out pictures in some of the volumes, but not too bad. There are small pencil marks as well, which leads me to believe that they were actually used in studio photography. Volume II has Figure Photography Volume 17, 18, 20, 21, 22 and 24. All of the magazines are in good condition. The “modern man 1957 Yearbook of Queens Volume 6” is the Crown Jewel of this collection. It is in good to excellent condition, and see photo for content-all of the great models from the 1950’s including Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Jayne Mansfield, Tempest Storm and many more.
