This is an original antique (early 20th century) fancy solid cast brass store display rack with four original brass hangers for dresses, shirts, or coats. The original polished brass finish is mostly intact but there are some worn spots, especially around the top and on the hangers, from use. The T-bar at the top might be copper, but all other parts appear to be brass. There are some screw holes at all four corners of the base on the bottom, possibly from some feet that are no longer i...ntact.
The entire piece is in excellent original condition and is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. There are some minor light scuffs, nicks, and scratches in the metal from use, but nothing is broken, cracked, bent, or repaired. The rack stands up straight and the base is very heavy.
The total weight (unpackaged) is about 33 pounds. Total height is 62", the bar at the top measures 18" across, the base measures 13" square, and the hangers measure 17" W x 8 1/2" H. The rack will be partially disassembled, packed securely, and fully insured during shipping. Shipping will be available within the lower 48 states only and no international.
