Original Description:
Offered here is a WWII Original German K98 Bayonet With Sheath, Wood Handles. Condition is Used. Overall length is a bit over 15” and the blade is approximately 10”. Blade originally blacken or parkerized. Some has rubbed off due to sheath wear. The tip and cutting edge are intact. Does not appear sharpened. Has factory edge. Cross guard and pommel are steel. The wood handles show age and use wear. The attachment release button is functional. I see no maker stamps or dates. There i...s the number D 14155 stamped on the side of the steel pommel and what appears to be two inspector stamps. The sheath is rolled steel. Has been used and shows expected wear.
