Original mk 1 not a crossover frame model
One things forsure.....its only ever original once !!
You can buy a restored one any day of the week but wheres the fun in that !
Here goes.....
The saddle is in excellent original condition with no major rips tears or repairs anywhere as pictured...there are a couple of tiny slits on bottom edge where seat bolt goes through on corner but not seen at all when fitted as... pictured....you do real well find a better original saddle than this id say !
The seat strap is an excellent reproduction item and the saddle retains the original seat plate reflector and waterslide decal
Original fully working shifter unit and console cover etc
Original 3 RRR gear knob present
The cover has no repairs and no cracks and both rear tabs present

Original 123 window
Original gear Table and gear slider arm present and fully working as pictured
All ribbed cables present usual light snags here or there but better than average easy as pictured
All r nuts present as pictured
The original paint does have some marks scratches etc as pictured from age and use and has been hand painted over in some parts pumkin orange but with a bit of elbow grease and some diluted thinners im sure most would come off....tho ive not tried !!...about average condition the paintwork as pictured
The original decals are still peeking through ...just in some places as pictured
All brightwork is ok to good but not mint and does have some pitting and chrome loss brake rub and marks here or there etc as pictured but easily better than average and not a red rusty wreck ......as pictured
Original brake levers calipers etc and handlebar grips
Original block long reflector pedals with good treads and reflectors as pictured
48 t chainwheel
Original made in holland tyres present..... these may not be the best but fully original and its up to the new owner if these need changing but fully useable as is !
Hub date is 70 / 9
Frame number is 0934671.....on rear dropout
Pretty sure thats correct tho difficult to be 100% sure as hard to read it in some parts !!
Theres no rewelding been done anywhere on this frameset and all welds are intact .....as pictured !!
All in all this is a good original mk 1 not mint by a long way but for an item near on 50 years old this has stood the test of time well id say and certainly better than most ....as pictured
The sissy bar will need freeing off as will the seat post but the handlebars are free to rise and fall
Handlebars have no dents underneath from any previous forced extraction
Early tall seat tube on frame as pictured
I can send this bike in a full size bike box but it will need a small amount of reassembly on delivery ie wheels and handlebars
Local pickup is welcome by arrangement no problem to save on postage cost
Any viewings welcome by prior arrangement before auction end no problem
If postage is required this item will only be sent tracked and signed for and insured to full sale value ...i wont send on the cheap with any cowboys !!
