AFRICAN CAPSIAN NEOLITHIC STONE AXE SAHARA (THUNDERSTONE).

I am continuing the sale of a personal collection of Neolithic axes collected over a number of decades from the Saharan regions, countries such as Mali and Niger. All stone axes are in excellent condition, with any defects to be communicated

This axe head piece weighs in at 0.410kg and 120mm in length. A solid piece, with a good heft. Quite smooth in the hand, but the cutting edge has been highly polished to a strong cutting edge. Nice colour and shape. A well liked piece.
