**WILL COME WITH LABEL NOTING SPECIMEN TYPE AND LOCATION FOUND**Description: Really amazing piece of petrified wood found in Parker, CO which used to be part of a vast tropical landscape that was decimated by lava flow roughly 55 million years ago, resulting in some amazing pieces that are quickly being buried under never-ending new neighborhood construction projects.  Higher-end specimens from this region will include druzy quartz, opal, vugs, geodes, vibrant coloring, and fossil... patterns such as can be seen here.Condition: Limb cast retains its natural bark features.  Ends have been cut and polished to 3000 grit to make a mirror shine.  An excellent display piece.Dimensions: 9" x 4.5" x 3"Weight: 4 lbs 4 ozOrigin: Parker, COShipping: USPS Priority Mail**Photos were taken while specimen was wet to show the details.  The piece looks very similar when dry.
