I have been selling amber fossils for over 10 years on eBay and do not sell fake amber only genuine material from now extinct plant sources not glass or plastic embedded with present day inclusions.Burmese (Burmite) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaursand is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar(Burma).This is a fu...lly polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains a Mycetophilid fly with a mite and a small larva (caterpillar) from the Cretaceous Period when dinosaurs still walked the Earth.The Mycetophilid fly would have fed on ancient fungus and the mite may have been a parasite on a dinosaur.
