Up for auction is this old signet ring. It looks like it may be made out of an old coin or token but that could just be a quincentennial. I believe that the coin is ancient Roman. I think the ring portion was added in more recent years. It appears to have modern welds, which makes me think that it might have been an ancient coin that someone converted to a coin in the 1700-1800’s sometime. Probably made into a ring by one of the Germanic tribes. Awesome item!! Don’t pass it up! Be ...sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get!
