For sale is this old ring. It looks like it may be made out of an old coin or token but that could just be quincentennial (in which case it is not a coin, and is just stamped with a coin-like design). I believe that the coin is an antique forgery if it is a coin. It just looks to be too small to be an actual coin, and the condition is inconsistent with authentic pieces that I have seen. I think the ring portion was added in more recent years. It appears to have modern welds, which make...s me think that it might have been an antique forgery coin that someone converted to a ring sometime recently. Possibly made into a ring by one of the Germanic tribes. Or even more recently than that. Awesome item!! Don’t pass it up!
