Composer Gerald Fried’s remarkable ability to provide highly kinetic and thrilling music is vividly showcased here in these three exceptional TV episode scores - two from Police Woman and one from Police Story, all composed in 1975. While Fried provides subtle, heartfelt music for the quieter, more reflective moments, and edgy, nervous music for scenes of jeopardy, the highlight is undoubtedly the music for the many chases and shootouts, which Fried scores with some of the most excit...ing, propulsive, rhythmically-charged compositions of his long career.
