This is a fully serviced Pioneer RT-707. It's been serviced with new counter belt replaced. Also took transport apart, clean and lubricated whole transport. Did also clean all switch and pots with Deoxit. Also upgraded transistors in PB and line output board as well as line in board. It also been recapped and most capacitors changed out.Did check and adjusted bias and playback level by service manual specs. Also check meter levels and speed as well and adjusted to service manual specs ...with test equipment and MRL test tape. . Did also reoil reel motors rear and front and capstan motor. Did also changed the direction lamps to LED's and match the look of the originals.
Machine is in good condition overall and was completely overhauled, not just a basic service as most others do. Pictures speak for itself, so please refer to below.
Pretty much this machine is well known for it's three motors for lower wow and flutter while being a small footprint of a machine, while being reliable .
You truly going to be very hard pressed to find another unit that will preform as well as this one and last a while. Most sell AS-IS, or untested. This one been serviced and had new counter belt installed and machine been clean and lubricated and had most transistors and capacitors changed out for better reliability. As do go through and test ESR and transistors for leakage and gain.
Most other sellers just get, or do a basic service done and try to charge what I do on mines. Some will even lie on work preformed, show no pictures as workwas never done in the first place to undercut me and others that truly did the work. Never trust a seller that can't provide pictures, or proof. No one going to do 3 days of labor and charge cheaper, just likely never going to happen, unless it was there personal unit they are off loading they had for a while and need to sell it for what ever reasons, as won't be worth the time involve and parts cost. Mines is fully overhauled and pictures speak for themselves. I go over the whole machine and rebuilt for better reliability. I am pretty much a master when it come to theses as serviced well over a hundred of them over the years and know the common issues and the failure point of this model well. On this one took care of all that so it won't break down any time soon. So you can buy mines that will likely last many years more, or chance it with one of those others and likely will have problems with it after a month, or less even? Why take the gamble, especially now that even a AS-IS one is going for more then what they use to and finding a competent tech will be next to impossible, or very expensive to ship back and forth and have to wait 6 months, or more? This one you be able to enjoy out of the box, without having to worry about servicing for years to come.
The Audio board was completely cleaned and switches lubed with Deoxit , transistors in power supply capacitors on audio/main board and power supply were replaced and both channels work flawless in playback and record.
