An elegant 1904 British sterling silver Montieth form punch bowl.From William Hutton, Sheffield.
Punch bowls were first observed in the late 17th centuryduring the rule of Charles II, in this very form.The Montieth originally had a detachable notched and curved rim, in some cases with shell accent, as found here.

Never monogrammed.

In fine condition.
