Original Description:
Designed and engineered by the Bell System and manufactured by their Western Electric Division this telephone was very unique, small and very durable.  The universal features are many. The handset can be placed on either side or front, The dial can face any direction and tilt to desirable angle. the mounting bracket allows placement on wall, post, desk or most anywhere.

The 211 was intended for industrial, commercial and business installations. It was costly to produce as ...many rugged and special parts were required.

This telephone has been completely dissembled, sand blasted, primed and painted with coats of automotive spray lacquer. New cords installed. Bakelite handset polished. Dial serviced and calibrated on digital equipment. The sound quality is excellent.

A Western Electric subset is supplied housing the ringer, induction coil and capacitors. It can be mounted near the phone or hidden. There is plenty of cord.

I supply many of these for kitchens, utility rooms, work shops, garages, offices and etc.
