Up for your consideration is this GORGEOUS Mid Century Modern Japanese studio Art pottery vase. This piece was hand thrown from a red stoneware type clay and glazed in runny ash glazes. The glazes are very beautiful, and work perfectly with the very sleek and simple pleasing form of the vase. This piece measures approximately 7 5/8" tall by 4" wide and deep at the widest area. The lip is 2 5/8" edge to edge, and the foot is 3" wide. It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition with one ...very small and very shallow flake near the edge of the foot as can be seen at about 2 o'clock in the last photo. This vase is hand signed on the foot as is also seen in the last photo. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have, and be sure to check out my other GREAT items! If you live in mainland China and are serious in purchasing one of my items please feel free to contact me and I will add you to my exemptions list so you will be free to buy. Thank you.
