Up for auction is an original WWII airborne officers artillery paraglider cap patch circa 1944. The cotton cut edge twill patch is in excellent, unworn condition, with no damage. The reverse of the patch has white chasing threads, and has been blacklight tested & does not fluoresce. These branch specific cap patches were only worn for a short time prior to the adoption of the generic red and blue paraglider variation, and were primarily worn by 11th, 17th, and 101st troopers....
