Original Description:
This a rare Papier-Mâché French Growler Bulldog and has the original fur collar . It has all four wheels, the chain and when pulled it barks. In the 19th Century  the popularity of the breed led to these almost life sized very life like toys. These have become rare to find due to their Papier Mache construction and most of them have been damaged or chewed by dogs. Because of their value fakes and reproductions have stated to appear on the market. This one is in great c...ondition in view of his age. He measures 35cm his by 44cm wide by 20cm deep. Free postage to the UK and £40.00 to all oversea bidders.
