Up for sale is the beautiful 1955 Voss ST-32 typewriter (Serial #102311). This machine has NEW PLATEN, FEED ROLERS AND PAPER BAIL ROLLERS from J.J. Short!!! Made in West Germany, there are not many of these machines seen in the U.S. and this is a true beauty and example of German engineering!!
This machine has been thoroughly chemically cleaned, tested, oiled, comes with a brand-new ribbon and the original case. (PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE SENDING QUESTION...S). Remove all panels (body of the machine) and rubber (Platen & feed rollers)3. Blow out the machine with air4. Clean all internal parts of the machine including:a. Segmentb. Type slugsc. Linkagesd. Vibratore. Marginsf. Tabsg. All chromeh. Keys and keytopsi. Platenj. Feed rollers5. Clean and polish all body panels6. Install brand new ribbon & test7. Test motion & on feet adjustment of typeface8. Reassemble all body panels and test again9. Clean case and prepare machine for shipping I KNOW ABOUT SHIPPING!!Once the machine is purchased I pack the machine in the following manner:1. Shrink wrap the machine and place it in its case. 2. Wrap two layers of bubble wrap around the case in different directions3. Layer the bottom of the shipping box with bubble wrap4. Place the machine in the box and layer bubble wrap around it and on top of it and secure with packing tape
