Title:Rare Antique World's Fair Straight RazorDescription:Presented for your consideration is very interesting and rare antique straight razor from the 1893 World's Fair. This razor was made exclusively for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition (World's Fair) in Chicago. It was only sold at the World's Fair as a fair souvenir. The blade of the razor has a very intricately detailed, engraving of the fair's skyline with "World's Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893" written underneath the p...icture. Very fine detailing is present in the picture. Above the picture it reads "1492-1892." The tang of the blade is marked with "H. Boker & Co." along with their tree hallmark. Opposite side of the tang is marked with "Germany." The blade easily folds in and out of the black bakelite handle. Blade is still very sharp. One side of the handle is engraved with "Keystone", unsure if this is original or was added later. The razor stores inside the original box with the same World's Fair skyline picture found on the blade, on the box. Opposite side of the box is marked with "H. Boker & Co." This harder to find straight razor would make a great addition to any World's Fair memorabilia or straight razor collection!
General light wear is on the razor from age and use. Box has some mild wear but looks to be free of tears and holes. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
