This is an restored 1926 Lockwood made in Jackson, Michigan. The cylinders are bright red to match the outside edges of the decals. The rest is polished aluminum and brass. As you can see in the pictures the motor is beautiful because the restoration had extraordinary attention to detail. It does turn over and has great compression but it is being sold as a display piece only due to its old age I can't guarantee it will start and run. It would need a few gaskets and a going-over. Look ...at the pictures carefully and use the zoom. Stand is not included.
Everything on the motor was taken apart, cleaned and either polished or painted. The attention to detail during the restoration is exquisite.
It is a piece of Americana and folk art that anyone can appreciate. This is being sold as a display piece only.
