This brass binocular microscope has "Smith, Beck & Beck, London" and the serial number "7037" embossed in to the base.There are no cracks or chips to the brass that I can find and it has retained much of its' 'crackle" finish black coating, however, there are the usual scuffs, wear marks and scratches that you expect from a well used item of this age.The draw tubes move up and down smoothly as do the eyepieces, with their rack and pinion mechanisms.The fine focus wheel appears to be w...orking.The double sided mirror is free from any cracks or chips, however, there is some foxing around the edges.The prism and drawer are present, however, the prism has a small nibble to and edge.All of the stage adjustments work smoothly and the rotating overstage moves as it should.The microscope has four eyepieces and a number of objectives, prisms etc.The microscope folds up and down well.The microscope measures approximately 36 cm (14 1/4 inches) tall unextended in it's upright position.It has its' original case.The microscope is sold as a collectors item and we have not tested it for clarity of image.Please be aware that customs or import duties may apply.There maybe delays with deliveries into the EU.
