A gorgeous early 20th Century Flat Back 'Neopolitan School of Music' 8 String Mandolin; the sound hole guard inlaid with a floriate motifThe neck has 5 mother-of-pearl fret markersThe body is edged with ebony and bone purfling and has a beautiful warm patina that only comes with ageOn the back is a picture of a beautiful gypsy girlOverall length approx: 23+3/4 inches (63 cms)Some scratches to the front and back commensurate with age but absolutely no major faultsAn eminently playable, ...rare and highly collectable antique mandolin
