For sale is an original 1917 antique Royal Typewriter Model 10 w/ Dual Beveled Glass Sides. Serial number is X292885 Condition is "Used". The glass sides have been painted from the inside and some of the paint is flaking off the glass, but the glass is in good condition.
This typewriter has a little rust on the carriage. The carriage moves well but the draw band is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced casting the carriage not to move when typing. The original draw band is in...cluded but it is broken see photos.
The ribbon also needs to be replaced as it is corroded with time. The “J” key is the only key that is sticking. All the other work well.
